Jennifer Tierney
Jennifer Tierney is the Principal of orDer architecture. Ms. Tierney is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. She possesses an undergraduate degree from Lehigh University and a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic & State University. She is registered in the State of Connecticut.
She was employed as an Associate at the world renowned design firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP in New York City before leaving to form a private practice. She worked at SOM for 10 years, filling positions in their design, technical, and management departments. Her institutional and commercial project experience varies from private Georgian academic buildings in Greenwich, CT to large scaled urban mixed-use projects such as Time Warner Center in Manhattan. Residential experience includes a roof-top additions and apartment combinations in Manhattan, an Artist Studio in Sag Harbor, NY, various kitchen and bathroom renovations, and 1 to 2-story exterior additions in the Tri-State area.
She was appointed by the First Selectmen of Fairfield, CT, Kenneth Flatto, to serve as a member of the Fairfield Woods Building Committee in 2010.
Brian R. Tierney
Brian Tierney teams with his wife Jennifer on all orDer architecture projects. Brian holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas University and has over 15 years of design and building experience.
Brian’s experience ranges from hospital work and complex laboratory research buildings to luxury residential and retail in New York City. Brian’s construction expertise, estimating and problem solving skills add accuracy and depth to each and every orDer project. Brian is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is registered in the State of New York.
